1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Chooz mobile application and choozmenu.com website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Chooz is a restaurant menu discovery platform. Restaurant owners publish and manage their menus through a web dashboard. Customers browse and search menus through the mobile app and web interface. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
3. User Accounts
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

  • One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts.

  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Restaurant Owner Responsibilities
Restaurant owners who publish menus through the Service agree to:
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date menu information, including item names, descriptions, and prices.

  • Only publish content for restaurants they own or are authorized to represent.

  • Keep menu and restaurant information current. Outdated or misleading information may be removed.

  • Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws related to food service and business operations.

5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

  • Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on intellectual property rights.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.

  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission.

  • Impersonate another person or entity.

6. Content Ownership
  • Restaurant owners retain ownership of their menu content, images, and business information.

  • By uploading content, you grant Chooz a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute that content through the Service.

  • Chooz does not claim ownership of user-generated content.

  • You may delete your content at any time by removing it from the Service or deleting your account.

7. Intellectual Property
The Chooz name, logo, and Service design are the property of Chooz. You may not use our branding without prior written consent. The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content) remain the exclusive property of Chooz.
8. Disclaimers
  • Menu information is provided by restaurant owners. Chooz does not guarantee accuracy of prices, descriptions, or availability.

  • Chooz is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of food or services provided by restaurants listed on the platform.

  • The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chooz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
